The InfraCal 2 ATR-E is based on proven IR technology, and used by fuel terminals, laboratories and regulatory agencies worldwide. The compact, easy-to-use InfraCal 2 ATR-E has a measurement range of 0-20 & 70-98%% ethanol in gasoline and an accuracy of +/- 0.2%. These results are comparable to ASTM D4815.
Samples are applied to a zinc selenide attenuated total reflectance (ATR) sample plate and easily cleaned with a cloth & isopropyl alcohol. No solvents requiring special ventilation, expensive waste disposal or difficult to clean cells are needed. The analysis can be done by non-technical personnel with no formal training and is ideal for lab or field use. The InfraCal2 ATR-E has a touch screen display, data storage and transfer, a multi-language interface and password protected settings. The internal battery pack allows for portability and up to 12 hours continuous use, providing results in under a minute at a fuel loading rack, in a laboratory or at a pump in a fueling station.
